Child Support And We is a development organization representing the voice of deprived, excluded and vulnerable population with epical emphasis on children regardless of their race, creed and gender, since 1996 through various interventions in the community.
At present, we are working foraround.40lakh population in West Bengal with our unique child-centric programmes like Health and livelihoodsetc. in collaboration with governments and civil society.
ChildSupprotAndWe was formed by a group of former students of Ramakrishna Mission Residential College to deal the problems of children in the underprivileged communities; direct support to the children out of their own fund was the beginning and afterwards getting support from the civil society to improve the status of the children.

Support us to reach out to more Vulnerable People Suffering From Lockdown Due To Coronavirus
A huge number of young children in our country do not get proper healthcare and nutritious food for their age appropriate growth and development in our country. Child support And We reaching the unreached vulnerable population since last 24 years in the state of West Bengal and Bihar. It provides health services to around 16000 poor children along with 27000 adult populations annually in backward communities along with other services related to the rights of children.
Our intervention in connection with Coronavirus Diseases 2019(covid-19)
Coronavirus Diseases 2019(covid-19) is a respiratory illness caused by a Coronavirus named SARS-CoV-2 which is a new strain of a large family of viruses called Coronaviruses (CoV).
The Coronavirus outbreak is critically affecting all of us. A large number of people have not access to essential services, hygiene facilities and the safety of homes because of lack of quality public healthcare and sanitation facilities.
Child Support And we is on a mission to make people more aware of and ready to combat the pandemic. We are raising funds for the following purpose:
- Provide free masks and sanitizers to help prevent the spread of the virus
- Supplementary nutritious food to the young children including children in special needs in the communities where the organization functions
- Provide healthcare support including distribution of essential medicine , diagnostic services , counselling
- Support poor people including Daily Wage Earners' Families, rural poor, traditional artisans, tribal, old people, and widows by supplying Grocery Kit.
(A grocery kit will contain sufficient quantities of wheat/rice, oil, sugar, tea, soaps, and a coronavirus awareness pamphlet)

Activities at a glance
The Main Activities are- running school and Vocational Training for children and youth , Micro-finance through SHGs , Technical Support to grassroot NGOs (Training , Planing ,Impact Study ), Advocesy ,Net working on child and human rights , HIV AIDs intervention , child health and nutrition , cultural activities , promotion of environment , food security , women empowerment through education ,training , capacity building , training to local bodies Achievements are- around 500 poor children are getting support directly from the organization . 150 SHGs are running MF activities , 15 grassroot NGOs getting support from us. They have reached maximum number of poor population.State wise activities for restoration of child rights . Conducted diffrent study on rural development , Micro-finance , Nutrition , education . Associated with MSME-DI Kolkata , NABARD and other sectors govt and Non Govt.

In the past we worked in the entire district of South 24 Parganas , and in Murshidabad & Purba medenipur West Bengal.
In Bihar , we worked in Halsi Block of Lakhisarai District and formed a trust in the name of Child Support And We , Halsi having the local representatives. Now , it works in Sono block of Jamui District.
